I hate most seafood. You wouldn’t have to kill me at 30. I’d have done it myself by 15.

Wood fired pizzas, working late again so the office is buying.

Tonight is my wife’s dance class night so she won’t be home until 8:30. That means leftovers since anything I make would just need to be reheated for her anyway. I believe there are leftover taco fixings so that is probably what’s on the menu.

Ive wondered whether the wood fired thing makes a difference or is just a gimmick. The important thing about a good pizza oven is high, radiant heat from good thick bricks. What heats the bricks shouldn’t matter. In fact, I’d think it would be hard to get and hold temp with just wood.

Wood is also in the oven so it gives it a smokier taste. (It was good btw)

I’ve never actually seen Logan’s Run. It’s on Netfl ix now, I should fix that.

I think it actually holds up pretty well. It won an Oscar for best visual effects, and was nominated for two others. Jerry Goldsmith’s score is also quite good. The scene with the robot (named Box) is kind of weird, and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense in the overall story, though it’s my understanding that his part was clearer in the original book. Definitely worth a watch. Also Jenny Agutter.

I’m definitely enjoying it so far. Seeing these mid-late 70s sci fi really makes me rea lize why Star Wars was such game changer in visual effects.
